Rootead Enrichment Center’s Black and Brown Therapy Collective branch is partnering with Restorative Solutions Counselling and Consulting, PLLC’s  Dr. LaSonda Wells to provide healing group events in November and December. These healing groups are designed to provide embodied tools to heal including breathwork and movement practices. Saturday, November 20, from  2- 4 pm we’ll address grief from gun violence and offer embodied tools to heal. Saturday, December 18 from 2-4 pm, we’ll focus on grief from racial trauma and offer embodied tools to heal. “We’ll be assisting the community on the healing and growth journey in response to the various ills happening on so many levels,” Dr. Wells said. “Not a support group because our focus is to provide tools and opportunity to connect, which could result in a referral for a support group and or individual therapy.”
